WHO WE ARE (MISSION)

ARDE is a youth-led nonprofit organization created in 2002

ARDE is a youth-led nonprofit organization created in 2002 and officially registered in 2004 governed by the law number 1/011 of April 18, 1992 of the ASBL. Reconciling young people who once were directly or indirectly involved in socio-political and economic conflicts in Burundi. Providing them with learning secular education opportunities, empowering them with leadership and socio-development entrepreneurial skills. It also supports rural government-owned schools with poor and limited learning infrastructures by equipping them with up-to-date resources, and promote digital literacy initiatives.

Our programs

September Back to School Initiative (SBSI)

At the beginning of each academic year, ARDE reaches out to destitute families in need with full pack of Schools kit to enable these vulnerable families to send their children back to school. It also follows up on of some of them through its Education for the Vulnerable by granting them one year scholarship.
